CHANGING DIRECT TO INDIRECT SPEECH

- Identify the tense of the reporting verb. (Refer to rule number 3)
- Identify the type the reported speech belong. (declarative, imperative, interrogative, exclamatory, optative)
- Identify the verb tense of the reported speech. (Refer to the table the arrow points for the conversion.)
- Make the other necessary changes: pronouns, time indicators, etc.
